One On One Photography Classes

Learn how to use your camera with private photography lessons. I have been offering private "One On One” photography classes for beginner, intermediate and people who are getting back into photography. I can help you decide if you wish to update your camera equipment to Sony, Canon, Nikon or just get a better understanding of what you do have.

My focus is to help people with specific issues they are having. Whether it’s camera function or image composition I can go through each element with you.

The photo 1 course will help you understand AWB, I.S.O., shutter speeds, aperture or f#’s, depth of field, metering and colour characteristics. Some assignments will be issued in order for you to practise what we have discussed. A following class would allow the student to apply what they have previously learned in photo 1. An example of where we might go to practise the cameras operation at the Mississauga City Hall and then to the Marilyn Monroe building. While practising the camera's operation, we will also be discussing some elements of composition that relate to Architecture. 

Field trips are a great way for you to get out taking pictures. We all lead busy lives and sometimes put off our hobbies until we ’have time.  A field trip will give you an opportunity to work photography into your schedule. Join me for a fun and easy-going experience photographing interesting locations and often unique subjects.

Outings or field trips can be arranged to meet at Toronto’s Kensington Market, Harbour Front, Union Station, Etobicoke’s Centennial Park Greenhouse, Brampton’s Chinguacousy Park Greenhouse, Halton Hills Hilton Falls which is just north of Milton and the harbour fronts in Oakville or Bronte.
